Which Hit the Road Dude videos are AI?

Remakes that drop a different person or a pet into the driver’s seat are generated. This site’s sample is AI, made from one generated dachshund photo. That published file is widescreen. A video you order is the size you choose after the photo: widescreen 16:9 or vertical 9:16, with the generated soundtrack and the same picture without the music.

Hit the Road Dude real or AI? How to check a clip yourself

1. Find the earliest upload and the account that posted it.
2. Separate the real event from the remixes that copy its look.
3. Look for an AI label or the tool the creator names in the caption.

The phone video and the remake

The August 21, 2025 upload is a real recording: vertical, about 70 seconds, posted by @bird28thegr8. The caption on that post is “Angry grandpa kicks me out my fishing spot.” Later clips that drop a different person, or a pet in a camo cap and plaid shirt, into the driver’s seat are a different thing. They are the remake, about 11 seconds. After the photo, you choose one size: 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 vertical. You get that one 11-second 720p video, with the generated soundtrack, plus the same picture without the music and without captions.

People also search that same recording as State Property, Private Property, or “this ain’t no state property.” Those phrases are lines in the phone video. This site covers those names on this page.

What our own sample is

The dachshund on this site is AI. The photo that went in was generated for the sample, already wearing the cap, the plaid shirt, and the vest. The subject in that file is the dachshund.

Dates you can check

August 21, 2025 is the date on the TikTok post. October 2026 is when the face-and-pet remakes started circulating. This site’s sample was published on October 22, 2026. A new face in the truck after the original post is the remake, even when the voice sounds close.
